Anaconda was founded in 2012 by Peter Wang and Travis Oliphant to bring Python into business data analytics. In the fall of 2023, the company made a major pivot when the leadership team realized they had an amazing AI offering that anyone could use. Anaconda is now focused on delivering the Operating System for AI, and this means enabling a wide range of use cases for its clients. Anyone can use Anaconda as the OS for AI. There is truly no market cap here.

How We Met

Anaconda’s then-CEO, Barry Libert, was introduced to SwingSearch, and we knew early that Barry’s go-getter style would make for a decisive hiring partner and that he was serious about rebuilding his executive team.
