In 2022, SwingSearch marked its eighth year supporting Worldwide Orphans—now known as the Rise Alliance for Children. That year, our commitment deepened as the organization expanded its play-based trauma support programs into Ukraine, responding quickly to the humanitarian crisis caused by war.
Our very own Mandy Edmund, a longtime board member of Rise, traveled to Poland and the Ukrainian border to witness the organization’s efforts firsthand. She returned with powerful stories of the resilience of children and families in conflict zones—and of the incredible impact that Rise’s curriculum brings to these communities.
Originally founded as Worldwide Orphans, Rise has spent more than 25 years supporting vulnerable children and caregivers in communities across the globe. From Haiti to Ethiopia, Vietnam to Bulgaria, and the Bronx to Ukraine, their work helps children heal, learn, and thrive—even in the most difficult circumstances.
That year’s annual Gala in New York City brought together friends, clients, and fellow supporters for a powerful evening of storytelling and fundraising—raising $750,000 in a single night. We were proud to host a table of Swing clients, friends, and partners who joined us in giving generously.
As a women-led company committed to equity and care, SwingSearch is proud to support Rise’s mission. The work they do—meeting children where they are, often in the hardest places—continues to inspire us.
