Job Description

This role supports a wide array of strategic initiatives at Swing during a planned period of high growth. You work to make sure revenue operations run smoothly, teams are supported and Swing’s marketing material is updated, timely and polished. You will help plan and develop material and events that make Swing’s client experience and team experience the best in the industry. This role reports to the VP of Growth & Partnerships and promises to expose you to all aspects of a business; consider it a mini-MBA!


What You’ll Do:

Growth & Marketing (60%)

  • Support strategic initiatives that make for a delightful client experience, candidate experience and team experience
  • Be creative and resourceful in leveraging the great work Swing does and sharing it on social media and with clients to extend our brand recognition
  • Oversee the execution of Swing’s marketing email campaigns via Mailchimp
    • Monthly email to VC Partners
    • Monthly or Quarterly campaign to Stakeholders at large (clients / candidates)
    • As needed, email to top candidates about searches in the pipeline
  • Develop social media campaigns and posts to promote Swings brand
    • Use Canva to design posts that communicate team-wins, notable placements and data insights 
    • Use LinkedIn for clients comms and industry relevant articles
    • Use Instagram for employer branding and support of clients
  • Support the leadership team on strategic initiatives that drive the company’s growth (Examples: Work with PR team, develop a candidate community that keeps Swing top of mind for top candidates)
  • Be responsible for updating key marketing materials (Recent Placements, the website, marketing collateral) on a quarterly basis
  • Be instrumental in developing and communicating a system for the client-facing team to easily access marketing resources and materials


Team Operations (40%)

  • Support Swing’s VP of Growth & Partnerships and the COO on strategic initiatives that drive the business forward
  • Drive culture of constant improvement, identifying, and implementing projects that increase business-wide effectiveness and efficiency during a period of rapid growth
  • Drive internal culture by leading by example and holding yourself to an extremely high standard 
  • Help Associate Partners and the corporate strategy team prepare for Business Development Calls by drafting one-pagers that summarize the business; learn about a wide array of industries, functions and startups that are disrupting businesses and will be tomorrow’s next Fortune 500.



  • Knowledge of and interest in running campaigns via Mailchimp, Instagram, LinkedIn
  • Proven track record of using good judgment in internal communications and external marketing collateral
  • Strong instinct to deliver a delightful experience to clients and the team
  • Proactive communicator

  • A remarkable attention to detail to balance a quickly moving leadership team

  • An interest in external communications and marketing
  • Strong problem solving by proactively driving results and being solution-oriented
  • Proven organization skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, public administration or liberal arts. MBA a plus.
