Mallory Welty

PRINCIPAL

Mallory is a California native who’s called the Bay Area home for almost 7 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley and spent a year working in retail management at Target before joining Uber, where she spent almost 4 years. While at Uber, Mallory supported a number of business lines and functions, including operations, business development, sales, marketing, strategy & planning, customer support management, and more, all the while gaining niche skills within the non-technical side of recruiting. She quickly moved from a role as a Recruiting Coordinator, to Sourcer, to Senior Sourcer, and now joins Swing Search as a Principal Recruiter. 

 

Mallory is passionate about career development and gains a tremendous amount of fulfillment from helping new college graduates and professionals of all backgrounds identify their areas of strength and career goals. She’s acted as a career panelist, public speaker, mentor, and/or advisor for Galvanize, Menlo College, EducationFirst, TalkDesk, the UC Berkeley Career Center, BUILT BY GIRLS, and BUILD. She loves doing freelance resume writing and is in the process of writing a career book.
