Elizabeth’s pre-recruiting life was defined by intellectual curiosity, various roles like teaching and writing, and travel to uncommon destinations. Since then, her career in recruiting has been equally as challenging and growth-inspiring. Upon returning to the US after living abroad for several years, she cut her teeth recruiting for VC funded startups in Silicon Valley. Soon after, she joined Google and became very familiar with sourcing and working with the world’s top talent. To date, the best thing she’s ever heard from a candidate is: How did you find me? This opportunity is the perfect fit for my expertise, and your timing is spot on! Elizabeth’s response: That’s what I do.
But beyond the joy of finding the right person for the right role at the right time, Elizabeth loves recruitment because it’s a deeply human process that has the potential to change life trajectories. In her spare time, she’s either going the extra mile to raise a smart and strong daughter, or dreaming of their next travel destination.
Fun Fact:
I had a photographic memory in my youth and memorized poetry for fun. These days I just know if I’ve looked at a LinkedIn profile before, which actually helps!
